Friday encouragement

So encouraged when I started reading a book on the train today (lent to me by a friend last night - thank you Elen, you are a star and so very thoughtful!)

“God remains as faithful as the day He created you in love, and as powerful as the day He spoke the world into being” Matt & Beth Redman “Blessed be your name” – Worshipping God on the road marked with suffering.

No matter what happens, the above remains true - even when everything around you, and everything you see, seems to contradict it.

This is actually a classic blog - 5 years ago I used to hear the "Nya nya nya...Andrew you must rest after these beeeg races otherwise you never gona recover" and now I'm hearing this preaching from the converted. You've certainly put a nice smile on my face! K, now for some serious stuff - of late with all the hectic politics in SA and the real posibility Zuma may get into power (and you may have noticed our rand suffer as a result R15+: GPB) and I have for the first time considered getting out...never mind the fact that I nearly got hi-jacked again at the start of the week. The other weird thing was at the wedding so many mates completely independently to eachother actually mentioned the same thing. So I wanted to get an independent perspective - from you.
